From the first sketches to luxury residential projects – each stage has consolidated a vision based on noble materials, precise geometry, and architectural lighting.
We opened a 30 sqm workspace in central Bucharest, where we created the first suspended fixtures from steel and glass. Orders came from owners of small apartments who wanted to optimize every square meter.
We began working alongside architecture firms for premium residential interiors. The first major project was a 200 sqm villa, where we introduced Calacatta marble and adjustable architectural lighting.
We developed a modular system of integrated kitchens for small spaces, using brushed steel fronts and tempered glass countertops. The project was presented at the design fair in Cluj and caught the attention of real estate developers.
We formalized the walk-in closet planning methodology: zoning by categories, suspended units for a free floor, and integrated architectural lighting. This approach became standard in all residential projects.
Today, we work with clients from Romania and abroad, and each project begins with a geometric analysis of the space. Premium materials – marble, steel, glass – remain the foundation of every interior design.

Robert Pugsley is an architect and interior furniture designer from Romania, specializing in luxury residential layouts, integrated kitchens, and geometric optimization of small living spaces. Each project starts with a careful analysis of the home's natural flow and how light interacts with the built volumes. Premium materials – Calacatta marble, brushed steel, sandblasted glass – are used sparingly, not as mere decorations, but as structural elements that define the atmosphere and functionality. Suspended units free up the floor and create a continuous visual flow, while architectural lighting with adjustable LEDs highlights the textures and precise geometry of the space. The tone of communication is sophisticated, technical, and focused on execution details, not vague promises. The portfolio reflects meticulous work, where every square centimeter is designed for comfort and lasting elegance.
In luxury residential layouts, material selection is never random. Marble, steel, and glass are chosen based on texture, visual weight, and how they reflect light. For example, Calacatta marble is used for countertops and central islands, where the cool surface contrasts with the warm wood of the cabinets. Brushed steel appears in fronts and finish details, while sandblasted glass is integrated into partition panels or cabinet doors to diffuse light without completely blocking the view. The basic rule: no material dominates – they complement each other, creating a visual and tactile balance.
Suspended units are a central solution in my projects, especially in integrated kitchens and dressing rooms. They free up the floor, making cleaning easier and creating an uninterrupted visual flow. In kitchens, suspended cabinets are positioned at a height that allows ergonomic access, with LED strips mounted underneath for work area lighting. In dressing rooms, suspended shelves and drawers keep the floor clear, and mirrors amplify the sense of space. Each unit is designed with precise geometry so that it integrates perfectly into the ensemble, without appearing added on later.
Architectural lighting is not an accessory but an integral part of the project. In luxury homes, light is used to highlight material textures, define functional zones, and create different atmospheres. Adjustable LEDs are mounted in hidden profiles, under cabinets, around mirrors, or along baseboards. In kitchens, LED strips under suspended cabinets provide work area lighting without disturbing shadows. In dressing rooms, lights integrated into shelves and drawers make finding clothes easier, while mirrors with perimeter lighting add an extra touch of elegance. Each light source is positioned so that it does not blind but envelops the space in a uniform glow.
A modern dressing room is not just a storage space but a functional and aesthetic room that must be carefully planned. Based on experience in designing dressing rooms for luxury apartments and small spaces, I have established three essential rules that guide each project. These rules ensure a dressing room that not only organizes but also delights, providing easy access to all items and creating a pleasant atmosphere.
